Dear incoming ‘Noles, Rattlers, Eagles, future Aveda hair stylists, and anyone that is new to Tallahassee!

First of all, I would like to send out a very warm welcome and warn you all that the next few years of your life here will be some of the most memorable and incredible times of your lives! We are very happy you chose to spend these crucial years with us here in Tallahassee and I would like to guide you throughout your collegiate journey in regards to everything fun to do in Tally whether it’s nightlife, awesome shows, special events, outdoor activities, volunteering opportunities, the best drink specials and random free shit (you know your brokeass is gon’ get h0ngry and you will wanna know where to find the free foodz!). Don’t hesitate to put something in my ask if you have ANY questions about my lovely little town or need some advice!

Let’s get focused on priorities though.. it’s Thursday, so I know what you’re wondering, “Where do I go on a Friday night?” My answer: LIT nightclub (located at 2020 West Pensacola St. suite 120A). On Friday nights there’s this super awesome dance party called Menace Beach that takes place in an exclusive back room of the club and it’s a high energy, splendid time hosted by the talented dj’s of Team Jaguar (Chris Manley, Ben Danner, & Colin Johnson) often featuring special guests from allova! Next Friday Clockwork/RL Grime will be in da houseeeee! <3 and that’s not it… in the MAIN ROOM, DJ PRESSURE does work! In regards to outdoor activities.. the most awesome addition we’ve had recently is the Tree-to-Tree Zipline Adventure at the Tallahassee Museum http://www.tallahasseemuseum.org/ (also referred to as the Junior Museum amongst locals). You can also visit the Tally Rock Gym for an awesome rock climbing adventure! http://tallyrockgym.com/

Free food? Pretty much anywhere on FSU’s campus you can find some type of Christian Fellowship BBQ, random free Paella and all kinds of other shit. You just have to check out the student events calendar whenever you get the munchies. It’s a nice trick. http://studentaffairs.fsu.edu/
